MAUREEN GIDDINGS
trained at Bath Academy of Art, Corsham and taught painting and
sculpture
in Bristol before moving to Guildford. Work in the theatre has included
sets for Much Ado About Nothing, Iolanthe, The BoyFriend and for Guildford
Opera Company The Arcadians, The Tales of Hoffman, The Merry Widow, Orpheus
in the Underworld and The Gondoliers.
Maureen has been associated with the Classical Road Show for many years
and has produced painted backcloths and props for a number of the shows
including Zambezi Tales and Dreamtime Tales.
She paints in watercolours and draws from life. Some of her work has
recently been exhibited at The Royal Academy.
